Welcome to our World!

Come gather ’round the Mulberry Tree!

Once upon the time, my paternal grandparents met, married, and began their journey on the farmground in western Kansas that there families homesteaded.

Then moved that farmhouse they built on the farm to a two plot piece of land in town. That white farmhouse became my sanctuary when college didn’t go the way I had planned. Then became the first home my husband and I shared, the home we brought our oldest home to.

The place I learned to cook, embroider, and spent hours practicing handwriting became the place I worked to learn the art of homemaking, menu planning, and mothering.

We had to move for my husband’s work in 2015, but my heart remains in the farmhouse where I lived, laughed, and loved under the shade of that giant Mulberry tree.
